OK readers, I need your brainpower here.
My neighbor came over this morning and told me that he saw a snake crawl up into a crevice at my house yesterday.
It evidently killed a bird and spent about 10 more minutes eating eggs out of its nest, I assume.
I'm concerned about the presence of the crevice, which is on my to-do list of things to fix.
I'm also concerned about how to safely remove the remaining bird from the pair.
But I'm even more concerned about the possibility of a snake getting into my house. I'd like to keep it away, but don't necessarily want to kill it.
Any thoughts or solutions?
I'm ssssseriousssssly creeped out.

Straight disenfect from a farm center will drive them away. They can't take the penetrating vapors.
As a young man I caddied at Kings Mtn. Golf Club. I always wondered why we could see big snake aon the rocks below the water holes but never on the course proper. The Groundskeeper Rafer Barnes told me about the disenfect principle and it does work.
I have always heard that snakes will not slither through lime, so I know a lot of people who keep lime on their lawns if they suspect snakes.
